“SECRET CABAL Of Neoliberal Elites Meet Privately To Decide Future Of AI: Rising Reacts To Bilderberg” This is a multi-national meeting in Portugal. “The only Black participant is Democratic pet project Stacey Abrams, who is on the steering committee” ~ @LoFiRepublican Seeing “Black” capitalized in a headline like this next to “white” in all lowercase really is sickening ~ @abandoned5paces Mysterious abandoned ‘Chicken Church’ built in the Indonesian jungle by a man who had a vision from god. ~ This is a repost from 2012. ~ This is a repost from 2021. The current national debt is $31.7 trillion. ~ This is a repost from 2018. We don’t know what the corresponding numbers are for 2023. ~ UPDATE: Sir Anthony Montague Browne KCMG CBE DFC 1923 – 2013 appears to have been a piece of work. He is acknowledged to be the illegitimate father of The Most Reverend Justin Welby Archbishop of Canterbury. The Most Reverend Justin Welby Archbishop of Canterbury. Sir Montague Brown was the private secretary of Winston Churchill from 1953 until Churchill’s death in 1965. “As well as his duties as a chief of staff, Montague Browne lunched and dined with Churchill and provided an opponent for his favourite card game, rubicon (six pack bezique). He also accompanied Churchill on his trips abroad.” While it is possible that Monatague Brown did ask Churchill about the quote, there is no solid documentation. It is also possible that Churchill was in decline, and could not remember something he said in 1911. ~ “Montague-Browne confirmed this to Richard Langworth, one of the most respected Churchill biographers. In his great book about Churchill quotations and misquotes, Churchill by Himself: The Definitive Collection of Quotations, Richard Langworth says that Montague-Browne personally told him that he had asked Churchill about the quote. According to Montague-Browne, Churchill responded: “I never said it. I wish I had.” Langworth notes that “rum, sodomy and the lash” is similar to “rum, bum and bacca” — a catchphrase from an old saying about the, er, pastimes of British sailors, dating back to the 1800s.” ~ This story has an amusing tale about a famous Churchill quote. A bit of investigation reveals that the story, while plausible, does not have solid documentation. ~ The Library of Congress ~ selah

This is a repost from 2019. In 2022, Stacey Abrams was defeated in her second attempt to be elected Governor. ~ This is a repost from 2018. ~ @chamblee54 “Truth is bad fiction” The more I see, the more I agree with this saying. ~ The connection to “2001: A Space Odyssey” is an illustration. A 1968 movie had a colorful vision of what 2001 would be. The reality of 2001 was September 11. ~ @RCdeWinter Recently, a female sheriff’s deputy arrested Patrick Lawrence, a 22 year old white male, who was fornicating with a pumpkin in the middle of a field at night. The next day, at the Gwinnett County (Georgia) courthouse, Lawrence was charged with lewd and lascivious behavior, public indecency and public intoxication. The suspect explained he was passing a pumpkin patch on his way home from a drinking session when he decided to stop. “You know how a pumpkin is soft and squishy inside, and there was no one around for miles, or at least I thought there was no one around,” he stated. Lawrence went on to say that he pulled over to the side of the road, picked out a pumpkin that he felt was appropriate to his purpose, cut a hole in it, and proceeded to satisfy his pressing need. “Guess I was really into it, y’know?” he commented with evident embarrassment. In the process of doing the deed, Lawrence failed to notice an approaching sheriff’s car and was unaware of his audience until Deputy Brenda Taylor approached him. “It was an unusual situation, that’s for sure,” said Deputy Taylor. “I walked up to Lawrence and he’s just humping away at this pumpkin.” Deputy Taylor went on to describe what happened when she approached Lawrence. “I said: ‘Excuse me sir, but do you realize that you’re having sex with a pumpkin?” He froze and was clearly very surprised that I was there, and then he looked me straight in the face and said: “A pumpkin? Shit … is it midnight already?” ~ “I’m not upset that you lied to me, I’m upset that from now on I can’t believe you” – Friedrich Nietzsche … It is actually a derivation of a quote from Neitzsche’s Beyond Good and Evil. “Not that you lied to me but that I no longer believe you has shaken me.” Here is another take. Ike Turner was talking about himself when he wrote that. ~ pictures for this abbreviated edition are from The Library of Congress ~ selah

The FBI was the majority of Proud Boys – only 5 are being prosecuted. ~ The Reformation generally is recognized to have begun in 1517, when Martin Luther (1483–1546), a German monk and university professor, posted his ninety-five theses on the door of the castle church in Wittenberg. Luther argued that the church had to be reformed. He believed that individuals could be saved only by personal faith in Jesus Christ and the grace of God. He thought the Catholic Church’s practices focusing on works (such as pilgrimages, the sale of indulgences to obtain forgiveness, and prayers addressed to saints) were immoral. He also advocated the printing of the Bible in the language of the reader, rather than in Latin. (Printing on a large scale had become possible through the introduction of movable type in Europe in 1447 by a German goldsmith, Johannes Gutenberg; it allowed rapid dissemination of ideas, including Luther’s.) The pope condemned the Reformation movement, and Luther was excommunicated from the church in 1521. ~ The five solas state that Christians are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, as revealed by Scripture alone, to the glory of God alone. ~ In conclusion, there is no substantive evidence that Winston Churchill or Abraham Lincoln crafted this saying. The first instances located by QI were printed in the 1950s and were anonymous. QI thinks that future researchers will probably find earlier examples as databases grow. Over a period of time anonymous expressions have sometimes been incorrectly reassigned to famous individuals. There is always the first twelve verses of 24. After much deliberation, I chose verse 6 … “And Abraham said unto him, Beware thou that thou bring not my son thither again.” ~ Maybe if I were a better Christian … or any kind of Christian at all … I would understand what bringing a son thither means. It would make my life better, and ensure that good things happen to me when I die. As it turns out, page 23 of this special Bible is a disappointment. There is nowhere to go but up from here. ~ satyrsnymph has the headline, “Where are the Dominant BM Fetishists” I don’t want to know what a bowel movement fetish involves. ~ The Library of Congress ~ selah

There will finally be an end to the brutal suffering of Yemenis thanks to China and its efforts for peace in the region while the west kept fueling the war. ~ This is a repost from 2017. The current US Population is 336,438,002. ~ “many of Trump’s supporters have for years thought that he’s the victim of a series of witch hunts and this prosecution is just the latest in a series of injustices. That is not entirely true. The District Attorney for Fulton County, Georgia, for example, is conducting a serious investigation into Trump’s strong-arming of state officials in 2020 and 2021 to find him votes in the election that he lost. Good luck convincing Republicans and independents that the results of that investigation are legitimate after today.” ~ This is a story from March 30. In all the rhetoric over the “Tennessee Three,” there is very little information about what these legislators actually did. “Three Democratic lawmakers on Thursday led an impromptu rally in the midst of the morning session as hundreds protested against gun violence outside the door three days after a mass shooting at The Covenant School. Chaos erupted around 10:50 a.m. as the House voted on a bill dealing with expansion of the state’s education savings account program when Rep. Justin Jones complained aloud to Speaker Cameron Sexton that his voting machine was turned off. Sexton told Jones he was out of order, then called a five-minute recess. As Republican leaders huddled at Sexton’s dais, Jones of Nashville and Reps. Justin J. Pearson of Memphis and Gloria Johnson of Knoxville went to the podium armed with a megaphone, leading chants such as “Gun control now!” with people in the balcony seating areas.” ~ pictures today are from The Library of Congress ~selah
