These glamor shots are courtesy of Gwinnett County. The guests are held by a legal tether in the loft of bad behavior. With bravery and grace they wear the crown of presumed guilt.

I can’t believe how many of them are smiling!

Ouch… why do you show me on your blog?

Grace might be a questionable description…I suppose it’s all in the eye of the beholder.

GA? Jeez, if so, my county looks rough!

There is a local publication that has mugshots of everyone booked in a specific period. Most of the time the shots show the subjects smiling. I certainly would not be smiling if i was in this shot.

Some of these are hilarious. But bravery and grace? Looks more like drunkenness and stupidity to me. Too funny!

If you can’t say anything good, you can at least make an inside joke about a recent prompt.

Why not tether a smile ?
They should all be crying ?
    No.
I’ve seen far less loft and defiance
on the faces of the tired crown shuffling
their way to work on the dreary San
    Francisco mornings

What fantastic words for such a terrible situation. I hate those magazines, btw (since these people have merely been charged at this point & some will be found not guilty). I work in healthcare & this seems like the equivalent of a HIPAA (privacy) violation to me that could cause some people to take drastic measures over the embarrassment.

I’m with Human Triumphant. They weird me out, too. But why is it that some people just look born to commit crimes? :-) Thanks for linking up. Don’t forget to vote!
