Dear Old Basil

much less than a friend.
A sort of brother, I suppose?
Oh, brothers! I don’t care for brothers.
My elder brother won’t die,
and my younger brothers seem never to do anything else.

I’ve never read that book, although I’ve been meaning to. It’s on my [seemingly endless] To Read list (:
Classic
I have not read this, I am sure it must be better than all the movies made of it.
Haven’t read the book. Seen a movie based off of it and never was able to get into it. I may eventually get around to the book but I do like the selection you picked from it. It almost reads like a short story.
Oh, I really must read this some day! Add to the endless list…
Well-chosen. :)
I have this on audiobooks but always fall asleep! I LOVE what you do with the colors and words. Amazing.
A tip of my hat to you for the incredibly beautiful blog you have! The art work is gorgeous! It always is. Thanks for a good quote from a classic book.
