I wrote a blog post once. I saw that enemy was mentioned 100 times in KJV (the real bible), and enemies 237. I say “love your enemies” is mistranslated, and it should be “show kindness to your enemies” ~ this is your monday morning reader for a Detroit fourth down. Picture is by Marion Post Wolcott. “Michael Du Mond, former gunshop proprietor in Wisconsin, came to Hartford in August to work at Colts at forty dollars a week, and has received several raises since. It took him four months to find a place for his wife and two children, namely a hotel apartment for sixty dollars a month, eating all meals out. Now they have a very hot small attic apartment, third floor, for thirty dollars a month, and no place for children to play. Hartford CT” June 1941… ~ Christopher Isherwood said that when choosing a religion, the person who brings you to that belief system is key The beliefs are less important. I envy the community of believers, but not enough to pretend to believe. In my case, it was not an option anyway. ~ After 30 minutes, I had to turn this off. Israel is very good at arguing its case. It may be too good. While what @EconTalker said was true on a certain level, it is also false on others. I wind up tuning it all out. Did you ever discuss the hannibal doctrine attacks on 10-7? ~ The Savior passed a fig tree; Alas, it bore no fruit. He spoke a word and cursed it; It withered from the root. This was a word of caution, At least it seems to me. The lesson being simple—Dude, don’t be like that tree. @ChrchCurmudgeon ~ one beat too many, the dude does not contribute, last line does not work. @chamblee54 ~ Say what? A spare beat lingers? Oh no, it could not hide. I counted on my fingers; And lo, the “dude” abides. @ChrchCurmudgeon ~ @QuaySmith I liked the cadence it brought ~ @chamblee54 @QuaySmith doth reply, I liked the cadence it brought, Just include the dude ~ @washingtonpost invited readers to make cosmetic changes to popular words. The result: Cashtration, Ignoranus, Intaxication, Reintarnation, Bozone, Foreploy, Giraffiti, Sarchasm, Inoculatte, Osteopornosis, Karmageddon, Decafalon, Glibido, Dopeler Effect, Arachnoleptic Fit, Beelzebug, Caterpallor HT to Tony Adams ~ One afternoon, I was reading Lee Israel’s biography of Miss Bankhead, while I eating lunch in the Greyhound Burger King downtown. Suddenly, everyone started running outside. A man had gone in the station, and shot his pregnant girlfriend dead. ~ On my one visit to @Whataburger the blinding afternoon sun was coming in the south windows with no shades. Is that part of the Texas conspiracy? ~ Dame un Beso y Dime Adios (En Vivo) ~ Every Breath is a time to rejoice ~ This is a repost from 2023. Jordan Peterson is coming to State Farm Arena for the We Who Wrestle With God Tour on March 15. “Availability and pricing are subject to change. Resale ticket prices may exceed face value. Accept and Continue” … ~ Pictures today are “First Internation[al] Pageant of Pulchritude & Seventh Annual Bathing Girl Review at Galveston, Texas.” These are taken in 1926, and were image #06666 at the Library of Congress. There will be a Jordan Peterson concert at State Farm Arena March 15, with dynamic ticket pricing. ~ @QuoteResearch Current AI systems invent citations. Hence, you must double-check to make sure the exact quotation you are examining appears within the source cited. I have been sent inquiries based on faulty information from AI systems. @jposhaughnessy ~ american military analyst: Israel is not committing genocide; the number of casualties is not sufficient enough ~ Sedevacantism is a Catholic thing. Sedevacantists think that the Pope is not Catholic enough to serve. Jack Delano took the photograph in June 1941. “Five-cent hot lunches at the Woodville public school. Greene County, Georgia” ~ “A thing is not necessarily true because a man dies for it.” The gem is blamed on Oscar Wide. The quote is found in “The Portrait of Mr. W. H.” (1889.) “To die for one’s theological beliefs is the worst use a man can make of his life, but to die for a literary theory! It seemed impossible.” ~ a fresh start, leaving everything behind, so i gave up / drew a blank on the prompt, went to look at espn the lions are ahead which is fabulous, maybe i should focus on the springboard, idk what a sb is, is it like a dry diving board, maybe a freeze dried microwavable start is what i need instead, or maybe i should give down, and steal up ~ @QuoteResearch Warning: Never use ChatGPT or other current AI systems to learn about quotations. AI systems of today present incorrect quotations and attributions. AI systems hallucinate The AI technology of large language models (LLMs) is powerful, but it dramatically fails in the domain of quotations. Improvements are required ~ People talk about a 20 yo liberal/heart, or a 40 yo conservative/brain. I am going to be 70 soon. My heart and my brain are not what they used to be. But I still have my gut. I listen to my gut. It is not always correct, but it is where I start. ~ @chamblee54 Here is the end of the free segment. Somebody has a sense of humor. “one person’s pessimism is another person’s realism” ~ This article did not mention … at least in the part of it I was able to read … that Coleman Hughes supports Israel’s hobby of slaughtering Palestinian children. I suppose that is what happens when you get paid by Bari Weiss. As for rule#1, BAR is about internet nonsense. The song and dance here … legalistically picking apart a criticism of the George Floyd phenomenon, while ignoring enthusiastic support for mass murder in Palestine … seems to qualify as internet nonsense. ~ Tigers Tigers fighting bright, In the ballparks of the night, Your pitchings fair, your field adroit, So why no pennant for Detroit? ~ selah

(Applause.) ~ @chamblee54 “How many divisions does the Pope have?” Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin, aka Ioseb Besarionis dze Jughashvili. This could easily apply to the #ICJ today. But did Mr. Stalin really say it? ~ here is your monday morning reader for today. Marion Post Wolcott took the picture in June, 1941. “Mrs. Frank Robbins and her children, who live in trailer near United Aircraft where her husband works nights. East Hartford, Connecticut” ~ @HiddenCityMusicFestival ~ This is a repost from January 2020. The firehose has been busy the last four years. … ~ Sam Harris used a terrific phrase on Joe Rogan Experience. He said a lady was drinking from a firehose of bul**hit. He was arguing that “only” 200k people in Iraq died after the American invasion, instead of 2m. ~ so i was waiting for my brother to call, so i could go get him at the train station, and then i could go to bed because that is how my wtf – white trash fabulous – life is going…. i was listening to your monolog, and grooving on the feng shui/stream of consciousness/ free flow of it all. it was a magic moment when the chevy tahoe with the purple lights spoiled your groove, stole your joy, and interrupted your magic moment of feel good nihilism. … so anyway, the phone rang, and i was answering the call at the same time that your video ended, and when i got back to the screen there was a commercial for the next video, some bozobreath was talking about how on august 19 we will find out who the most dangerous man in america is, and i skipped the rest of the video so i didn’t hear how to send him money and find out what i did not want to know … anyway, that is all for now, thanks for reading this, and if you want to read more commentary on your communism make a comment, or if you thinkk otherwise, you can buy me a chevy tahoe with purple lights so i can ruin someones composure ~ Pro Tip for Biden Supporters: When people interrupt a speech, saying to stop the genocide, don’t respond by chanting “four more years”. ~ “Luther I am genuinely curious about how it is you support white supremacist world views consistently, yet have always hung out in alternative spaces. Have you written about this?” It took me six years, but I have written about that. ~ lost atlanta is a coffee table book. The content is the buildings, and institutions, that no longer exist. Atlanta has a long love affair with the wrecking ball. General Sherman was a minor player. ~ @RachBlevins The Freudian slip of the century from a city council meeting in Burlington, Vermont, where residents were voting on a ballot measure condemning Israel, and calling to an end to U.S. support for genocide in Gaza… A girl opposing the measure said, “I would like to use the rest of my time to say how appalled I am that people are bringing up the Holocaust. Do not use other genocides to describe this one. ~ This is a repost from 2017. John Lewis passed away July 17, 2020. Donald Trump refuses to go anywhere. … ~ John Lewis said something that annoyed Donald Trump in 2017. Picture today was taken by Esther Bubley in July 1943. “Washington, D.C. Spectators at the parade to recruit civilian defense volunteers” ~ “how many divisions does the Pope have?” Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin, aka Иосиф Сталин იოსებ სტალინი. This could easily apply to the ICJ today. But did Mr. Stalin really say it? The evidence comes from U.S.A. Assistant Press Secretary Eban Ayers. quoting U.S.A. Fleet Admiral William D. Leahy during an executive lunch took place in 24 January 1946 in a White House executive lunchroom. According to the excerpt, Joseph Stalin actually asked Winston Churchill “How many divisions did you say Pope has?” during the Potsdam Conference which was held in Potsdam/Germany to negotiate terms for the end of World War II between July 17 to August 2, 1945. According to W.D.Leahy (whom was a participant as Harry Truman’s adviser at Potsdam during the conference), that was the funniest remark of the conference. ~ The incident occured during the discussion of Poland’s situation. Stalin brought a proposal about Poles but Churchill objected that referring to Polish Catolics and said “Pope would be very displeased”. Then Stalin turned to Churchill and asked that famous question “after taking a tug at his moustache”: “How many divisions did you say Pope has?” ~ “A Single Death Is a Tragedy; A Million Deaths Is a Statistic” This crowd pleaser appears to be the result of a journalist under deadline pressure. “In 1932 “The Christian Science Monitor” printed an article describing a meeting that included George Bernard Shaw, Lady Astor, and Stalin … the reporter expressed uncertainty about the veracity of the tale. … The story is told in Moscow that hardly had his guests been shown into the room when Lady Astor exuberantly opened the conversation with this remark: “Mr. Stalin, how long are you going to continue killing people?” The Soviet Dictator quietly answered: “As long as it is necessary.” ~ This is a repost from 2017. Java Monkey was destroyed by a fire in November 2018. The poetry series “Java Speaks” is unhoused for live shows. A virtual version continues Every Sunday Night. … ~ Java Monkey Speaks was a Decatur institution. In 2018, the hosting coffeehouse burned down. “The man who would not shut up” recalls a couple of Sunday nights there. ~ pictures today are from The Library of Congress ~ selah

Levant was becoming known to American audiences as one of the regular panelists on the radio quiz show Information Please. Originally scheduled as a guest panelist, Levant proved so quick-witted and popular that he became a regular fixture on the show in the late-1930s and 1940s, along with fellow panelists Franklin P. Adams and John Kieran and moderator Clifton Fadiman. “Mr. Levant,” as he was always called, was often challenged with musical questions, and he impressed audiences with his depth of knowledge and facility with a joke. Kieran praised Levant as having a “positive genius for making offhand cutting remarks that couldn’t have been sharper if he’d honed them a week in his mind. Oscar was always good for a bright response edged with acid.”[9] Examples include “I knew Doris Day before she was a virgin,” “I think a lot of [conductor/composer Leonard] Bernstein—but not as much as he does,” and (after Marilyn converted to Judaism when she married playwright Arthur Miller), “Now that Marilyn Monroe is kosher, Arthur Miller can eat her.” ~ time as a dance partner .. time can do everything that i do, only backwards and wearing high heels, ginger rogers, the original bwhh lady, made an appearance at northlake mall, one summer when i was working for the mall, she was selling gaymode panty hose, when someone asked her how old she was, she said it was none of your business, , i asked time a minute ago how old they were, i would ask time for the pronouns, but i will just assume it is non binary, maybe i just get down to business and ask time for a dance, time is old, and smells bad, so this is not going to be a slow dance, maybe i should just wait for the electric slide, and then sneak off, because i never did learn that and it is embarrassing, time likes to embarrass you for not knowing the steps, especially when i am going forward wearing flat shoes, oh god, now they are playing the macarena, and time is pulling me out onto the floor kicking and screaming, lord what is this sick excuse for a dj going to play next, he already played the perfect country song, so i don’t have to worry, maybe it will be its raining men, and all the women will dance while the men talk about football games, time has no shame, and will dance to anything, even the horrible muzak that the dj plays to clear the floor and make everyone order drinks, even the lady in red even the baby elephant waltz ~ this is your King day monday morning reader. The picture shown was taken by John Vachon in February 1942. ” Ipswich, South Dakota. Village priest riding a bicycle to town” ~ “A quote widely attributed to James Baldwin, but was, in fact, coined by Robert Jones Jr. … succinctly states the intention of Son of Baldwin,” the blog explains. “‘We can disagree and still love each other unless your disagreement is rooted in my oppression and denial of my humanity and right to exist.’” ~ Ezekiel 23:20 For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose issue is like the issue of horses. ~ @Jonathan_K_Cook A Palestinian recounts what is now an everyday horror story in northern Gaza: of his futile efforts to dig out his neighbours, a mother and her two young children, trapped under rubble while Israeli snipers fire on him; watching their slow, painful deaths; and then fighting off a pack of starving dogs tearing chunks out of their corpses. ~ Adolph Luetgert was charged with murdering his wife and dissolving her body in acid in one of his sausage vats at the A.L. Luetgert Sausage & Packing Company in 1897. … After the news of the trial became public, rumors spread that Luetgert had actually turned his wife into sausage and sold the “sausage” to unknowing consumers.” ~ In this house we are all God’s children, It is not what you say but how you say it, Don’t need to talk more need to listen more, Clever arguments are not always the truth, Science is the questioning not the trust, Beliefs are your thoughts with an attitude, Hate wins when you fight hate with hate, You are entitled to your opinion. ~ @WaywardRabbler The YNet News “7 Days” Report “The First Hours of Black Saturday” paints a devastating picture of incompetence, panic, and, ultimately, extreme disregard for the lives of Israeli civilians by the IDF There will be serious domestic repercussions for Israel’s government ~ @WaywardRabbler 5 hours in the IDF was still fighting without proper equipment, without proper orders, and did not know the extent of the breach. In short, Israel may “have a right to defend itself,” but they were not prepared to do so on 10/7 16/25 ~ JON OSSOFF AND RAPHAEL WARNOCK VOTED AGAINST THE RESOLUTION. “US senators have defeated a measure, introduced by Bernie Sanders, that would have made military aid to Israel conditional on whether the Israeli government is violating human rights and international accords in its devastating war in Gaza.” ~ Israel Has Bought a Mass Online Influence System to Counter Antisemitism, Hamas Atrocity Denial … Defense, intelligence and civilian bodies realized soon after October 7 they were losing the online battle to what sources call Hamas’ ‘well-oiled psychological and information warfare machine.’ So they quietly purchased digital tools to fight disinformation, despite fears of future political misuse ~ @QuoteResearch There is a story about a Lincoln quote. The quote is real. What is interesting is why Abe said it. In 1862, with the South winning the war, Abe did not think he had the authority to issue the Emancipation Proclamation. The quote: In September 1862 a newspaper in Wisconsin reported on a meeting that was held between President Abraham Lincoln and a group of religious leaders who wanted him to immediately sign an Emancipation Proclamation. Lincoln was hesitant and argued that the measure would be ineffective because it would not actually free slaves. He used the language of the riddle to figuratively explain his position: … On pressing the policy of emancipation upon the President we received this reply “You remember the slave who asked his master, ‘If I should call a sheep’s tail a leg, how many legs would it have?’ ‘Five.’ ‘No, only four; for my calling the tail a leg would not make it so.’ “Now, gentlemen, if I say to the slaves, ‘you are free,’ they will be no more free than at present.” ~ here is another view of the story. This is not the history you are taught on facebook. ~ “What would Jesus do?” A better question might be “What did Jesus do?” #haiku ~ Ta-Nehisi Coates appeared on the WTF podcast in 2018. He spoke of fatherhood, writing, and the struggle to succeed. The expressions whiteness, and white supremacy, were not heard. ~ also in 1964, Romero was very much involved in the U.S. Senate race in California that pitted one of Romero’s best friends and fellow actor, Republican nominee George Murphy (who nicknamed Romero “Butch”), in his bid to oust then-Senator Pierre Salinger, a Democrat ~ Happy Birthday Dolly Parton, Paula Deen, and Janis Joplin. Pictures are from “Annual “Bathing Girl Parade”, Balboa Beach, CA, June 20, 1920.” ~ @QuoteResearch Your tweets from Jan 6 and 7 inspired the creation of the longest and deepest QI article. Thanks! @chamblee54 @Edokwin Quote Origin: Imitation Is the Sincerest Form of Flattery That Mediocrity Can Pay To Greatness Oscar Wilde? Barker family in their trailer. ~ @SHARON_NEEDLES As someone who has work, lived, and breathed night life for a quarter of a century, I’m pissed at the lack of dancing from younger queers. Seeing you wedged in a corner illuminated by your phone isn’t what I fought for.. ~ @OzzyOsbourne Today marks the 42nd anniversary since I bit a head off a fucking bat! In just two years, stories about “getting the jab” feel like ancient history. ~ this is the story of getting a booster shot in 2022. So far, it has not killed me. The 1941 picture is from the GSU library. “Buses full of soldiers outside Fox Theater (“colored entrance” sign visible)” ~ @wildethingy Bible historians have discovered that for millenia “the meek” in “the meek shall inherit the Earth” was a mistranslation. The original ancient Greek actually translates better as “the dumb fucks”. @chamblee54 actually it was both a spelling mistake, and confusing old testament prophecy for the words of jesus “the geek shall inherit the earth” ~ pictures for this postseason monday are from The Library of Congress ~ selah

It is from the Georgia State University Library. ~ The Great Speckled Bird was an underground newspaper. Vol.3 no 26 June 29, 1970 was especially memorable. On page 17, there was a bit of eyeroll inducing polemic. The first paragraph is the one that matters. “What is Gay Liberation? Hearst ~ Important question: Was the “woman in the black dress” attacked by #Hamas or #IDF ? It is ok to say “We don’t know” ~ The Vietnam war was hated by millions of Americans. President MF is known for installing a bathtub in the White House, a controversial move in his time. A decision, in 1860, to install bathtubs in the US Capitol is considered a forgotten cause of the War Between the States. The pictures are from Library of Congress picture #06665, “Bathing Beauty Pageant, 1925, Huntington Beach CA.” ~ there is this man on youtube. in addition to talking about guitar, he speaks of depression, and how he has never kissed a girl, much less fucked one … i look at these and think of how there is a dick going to waste, and how could i meet him and show him what he can do with that pecker ~ On August 8, 1974, Richard Nixon announced his intention to resign from office. Conversations I Am Tired Of Having ~ this is the first monday morning reader of 2024. Russell Lee took the picture shown in Rupert ID, July 1942. ” Japanese-Americans eating supper in the community mess hall” ~ “You should learn from the mistakes of others, because you will not have time to make them all yourself.” Alfred E. Wait for it ~ @zora Joke a Syrian friend in Germany told me: -An Arab, a Turk and an Albanian are in a car. Who’s driving? -die Polizei ~ Coleman Hughes is a pro-Israel content provider. If you go to @coldxman, you have the option of paying $7.00 a month for his tweets. Jack Delano took the picture in October 1940. “Mr. Lawrence J. Brown, Aroostook potato farmer operates a small seed foundation unit in Eagle Lake, Maine. His three sons and one hired man do all the work. The little boy on the left picked fourteen barrels of potatoes before lunch.” The infant seen here is in the right side of the picture. ~ Lior Haiat 🇮🇱 @LiorHaiat “Israel rejects with disgust the blood libel spread by South Africa in its application to the International Court of Justice (ICJ). South Africa’s claim lacks both a factual and a legal basis, and constitutes a despicable and contemptuous exploitation of the Court. South Africa is cooperating with a terrorist organization that is calling for the destruction of the State of Israel. The Hamas terrorist organization – which is committing war crimes, crimes against humanity and sought to commit genocide on 7 October – is responsible for the suffering of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip by using them as human shields and stealing humanitarian aid from them. …” I thought this was just some random whacko, until I saw “Israel Foreign Ministry and Israel ישראל 🇮🇱” at the bottom. This is an official government response! ~ Joe Pyne was an abrasive TV host. Harry Hay was a seminal figure in several “radical” communities. There is a wikipedia urban legend that Mr. Hay was a guest on “The Joe Pyne Show.” Youtube does not have a video of the show. ~ MK Gandhi was trained as a barrister, and could crank out a wordcount. His thoughts were well thought out, and much more complex than the motivational Mahatma on facebook. ~ I enjoy listening to things on the stationary bike. Shows that guarantee enjoyment are best, because turning it off mid ride is trouble. I have learned to be leery of The Writers Voice, the fiction podcast at the New Yorker. While the ones I enjoy are terrific, TWV has a high washout rate. Still, when I was preparing to go to the gym today, I took a chance on Wagner In The Desert by Greg Jackson. ~ WITD was originally published in 2014, which was a very different time from now. In the tale, four young people go to a house in Palm Springs, for a drug fueled vacation. WITD turned out to be a fun story, with enough big word snark to entertain the exercising listener. At one point, the author described himself as having the mental capacity of a rock, or something like that. I laughed loudly, and got a funny look from the yoga mat lady in the front of the room. ~ My time on the bike ended at about 24 minutes, and I paused the show. When I got back to it, I had baked in the sauna, and ate dinner. My mood had changed. While there was no doubt I would finish the story … it was only 17 more minutes … WITD was not as much fun when I got back. ~ A subplot involves meeting a moneyman named Wagner. When the players meet up with Wagner, they are assured of financing, but then they have to give the old bastard the rest of their coke, and listen to his putrid opinions. The story-teller gets turned down by the woman he is chasing, and has to listen to a world weary soliloquy. May I would have been better off to quit the story while I was having fun. ~ “10 Conversations On Racism I’m Sick Of Having With White People” was a viral post during the Bush administration. This reaction was written during the Obama administration. The pictures are from the deep state, and are better than the text. ~ calamus ~ in 1998 Crazy Owl left the property on Flat Shoals Road. At some time after that, the land was developed. One of the cul-de-sacs was Shawn Wayne Court. Last night, someone was shot dead there. ~ “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness.” is one of Oscar’s greatest hits. Unfortunately, it is not included in his wikiquotes. Google has a bunch of meme-mongers, who paste the quote on pretty pictures, without giving a source. One source says: “The cleric and writer Charles Caleb Colton appears to be the first person to have stated the saying exactly as we know and use it today, in his 1820 work “Lacon: Or, Many Things in Few Words.” Oscar was a man of letters, with most of his work published, available, and scrutinized endlessly. If he really said something, there should be a source. While Oscar may have said this to one of his boyfriends, it does not appear in his work. ~ January 6, 2024, was less eventful than the famous 0106. The high point was reading a report of an accidental homicide, in the same spot that used to host a Friday night sweat lodge ~ Sometimes I get in the mood to be a pedantic as**ole, and debunking quotes is a good excuse. dubious quotes on facebook are the gift that keeps giving ~ “Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes.” – Oscar Wilde. This quote is real. It is found in act two of VERA; OR, THE NIHILISTS. … Prince Paul. When you are as old as I am, Prince, you will understand that there are few things easier than to live badly and to die well. Czare. Easy to die well! A lesson experience cannot have taught you, whatever you may know of a bad life. Prince Paul (shrugging his shoulders). Experience, the name men give to their mistakes. I never commit any. Czare. (bitterly). No; crimes are more in your line. ~ VERA; OR, THE NIHILISTS. A DRAMA IN A PROLOGUE, AND FOUR ACTS. ~ @MichaKobs The circumstances of Gal Abdush’s death raise very serious questions indeed. The first question is the time of death because, according to countless witness accounts, no one actually escaped the NOVA site to the north after 6:00. ~ A few days ago, I wrote about how Rachel Maddow has almost nothing to say about the tragedy in Gaza. In the time since then, facebook has been telling me about new posts at “The Rachel Maddow Show.” Today, her staff continued supporting Genocide Joe, and made an ironic comment. “As House Republicans try to exploit border conditions as an election-year issue, the White House has a compelling reply: “Actions speak louder than words.” … When I try to post this comment to Facebook, the browser keeps crashing ~ Rachel Maddow Watch: “The Rachel Maddow Show” continues to ignore Gaza, and focus on the re-election of Genocide Joe. Today, there was an ironic comment on facebook. “As House Republicans try to exploit border conditions as an election-year issue, the White House has a compelling reply: “Actions speak louder than words.” ~ The Protocols of the Deputies of Netanyahu ~ every sunday night you keep the flame burning, for crappy zoom bomber people to exist, talk to jesus while keeping wicks yearning, onamodapeia until you cease and desist, there is a difference between making good trouble, and just being a useless jerk, living in a nihilist recipe bubble, is guarnateed to never work, you need fourteen lines for a sonnet, whether you put bluebonnet on it, iambic pentameter bomber go away, the poetry police are not going to play, you have a lesson to be learning, remember to keep the flame burning ~ pictures today are from The Library of Congress ~ selah

We do not have a clear consensus on what words are HS. The classic is the six letter racial slur. Will this word be off limits to everyone? Or will people who “have the right” to say the 6LRS be able to say it. There are two 6LRS in use today, and both could reasonably be called hate speech. One ends with R, the other begins with R. One I, as a european american, am forbidden to say. The other 6LRS I am forbidden to NOT say. The required 6LRS is racist. If you believe the people who say racists should be hated, you can say that racist is hate speech. ~ pics from the gsu library. The picture shown here is the Pig’N Whistle. It was the EXCUSE. The cause was the banking cartel plans for financial domination in the new colonies and the undoing of Andrew Jackson’s work to decentralize banking. ~ @HotepJesus had a few tweets today about the economic motives for the War Between the States. I wanted to send him this post. “… the value of slave property, some $4 billion, enormous amount of money in 1861, represented actually more money than the value of all of the industry and all of the railroads in the entire United States combined.”… I searched for this post using google, to no avail. I did the same search with duckduckgo, and it was the first result. ~ Most wartime rapes happen after the battle. Hamas/IDF were trying to do as much damage as possible, then get out fast. While a few rapes might have occurred, it is unlikely to be a pervasive policy. ~ @chamblee54 I am losing respect for @coldxman Most wartime rapes happen after the battle. Hamas/IDF were trying to do as much damage as possible, then get out fast. While rapes might have occurred, it DOES NOT justify what IDF has done to GAZA. This is a tragedy of historic proportions. ~ With public figures, you can ALWAYS find something written in the past that does not line up with something written in the present. Hypocrisy arguments are boring. ~ this is the last monday morning reader of 2023. The 1942 photograph is Japanese-American farm workers in Rupert ID. While video of Dr. Einstein does exist, there is little way of knowing whether students asked him about God, at every lecture. The facebook wisdom-fest does not offer a source, for Spinoza’s ideas about Mary’s babydaddy. I am not a Spinoza scholar, and quit reading the facebook post after a few sentences. I did look at a wikipedia page, and a document from Stanford University. A search was done for the phrase “God would say: Stop praying.” The terms “stop” and “pray” do not appear in either source. Instead of “do you believe in God”, the question could be “do you believe in a facebook meme?” ~ “Your post was removed due to low karma low account age.” Enforcement of LKLAA seems to be selective. Yesterday I had a comment offed. I commented on the poor battle performance of the IDF, and asked why Israel would want to expand the war. ~ This is a repost from 2021.. On March 30, 2023, the Tennessee Three staged a disruptive protest during a session of the Tennessee House. ~ Nikema Williams and Park Cannon were arrested inside the Georgia Capitol for disruptive protest. Stacey Abrams supporters prevented Stacey Evans from speaking at the Netroots convention. The Tennessee Three disrupted a session of the Tennessee house. All of these incidents display a lack of respect for democracy. ~ Most wartime rapes happen after the battle. Hamas/IDF were trying to do as much damage as possible, then get out fast. While a few rapes might have occurred, it is unlikely to be a pervasive policy. ~ was slavery the cause of the War Between the States, or the excuse? Most wars have economic causes. If it was not GTI or FTRTTS, something else would be called anti-semitic, or a call for genocide. This is taking a page out of the social justice playbook. A few years ago, anything you did not like was WHITE SUPREMACY or RACIST. Then white supremacist. If I tried, I could come up with more. It might be time to add genocide ~ The one thing that comes to mind is a story that Krystal told. It was about pre-mature babies in a Gaza hospital. They had been cut out of their dead mothers. ~ this is a clip of Ryan talking about Gaza. There is one of those details which drive home the horror of what Israel is doing in Gaza. “one of the poignant things that I thought that I I pulled from this was the way that their their staff are telling them that they’re they can’t really leave their house like so that nervous because if they leave their house they’re going to get killed but then and then they’re also nervous that if they leave their house their family might get killed without them so they’re making these decisions do we all stay in the same room so that if we if and when we’re killed we all die” together we don’t have to suffer the sorrow of going on with with nobody else uh or do we separate so that somebody can survive and that somebody can carry on kind of the legacy of of this family” ~ @zora It’s truly horrible that every time I see a pic of a cute kid in my timeline, it means they’ve been killed by an Israeli bomb. ~ This is your monday morning reader for another week. This is how the world works. ~ @EylonALevy Since Hamas launched this war, the Israeli Air Force has struck 22,000+ targets in the Gaza Strip. It features body cam footage, and tells a different story than the one told in 2020. The word murder does not appear in the text. ~ Here is a blog post about TFOM. The word murder does not appear in this text. I wanted was a copy of the autopsy report. I googled “George Floyd Autopsy,” and found a lot of commentary. Next, I did the same search on duckduckgo. The top result was the HENNEPIN COUNTY AUTOPSY REPORT ME NO.: 20-3700. The document clearly states “No life-threatening injuries identified.”The first few minutes of TFOM was body cam videos. It was downright fascinating. George Perry Floyd was BOMBED. The store clerk commented on this in his 911 call, after GPF allegedly tried to pass a counterfeit twenty. After police arrived, the clerk pointed to a parked car across the street, where GPF was sitting in the driver’s seat. The parked car was not part of the popular narrative. Why did GPF sit there in the vehicle, instead of leaving? As high as GPF appears to be, was it a good idea for him to drive? An officer … not DMC … approached the vehicle. GPF opened the car door, instead of rolling down the window. It was spoken by Lord Darlington, in “Lady Windemere’s Fan.” Here is the exchange: Lord Darlington. What cynics you fellows are! Cecil Graham. What is a cynic? Lord Darlington. A man who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing. Cecil Graham. And a sentimentalist, my dear Darlington, is a man who sees an absurd value in everything, and doesn’t know the market price of any single thing. ~ “A cynic is a man who knows the price of everything, and the value of nothing.” “And a sentimentalist, my dear Darlington, is a man who sees an absurd value in everything, and doesn’t know the market price of any single thing.” ~ There was an exchange once. In the last part of this show, Darryl goes into the story of Lebanon. The former Phoenicia took in some refugees. Somehow or another, Israel and the refugees got started fighting, and Lebanon got caught in the middle. (This is a greatly simplified version of the story.) Anyway, Israel invaded Lebanon, and did enormous damage. After listening to this disturbing story, I totally understand why nobody wants the trouble that comes with accepting these refugees. If Israel broke Gaza, then Israel should fix it. I am not going to hold my breath, waiting for that to happen. ~ I was looking for the George Floyd autopsy report. Google has a collection of articles, mostly denouncing Derek Chauvin. On duckduckgo, the first result is the Hennepin County report that says “No life-threatening injuries identified.” ~ Leaked Sex Tape Shows U.S. Senator’s Staffer Being Fucked Up The Ass In Senate Hearing Room On Capitol Hill Posted December 15, 2023 by Zach with 86 comments [Note: The staffer has now been identified, and this story has been updated multiple times below.] An unidentified staffer to a United States senator has filmed himself being fucked up the ass doggy style in the Hart Senate Office Building Room 216 on Capitol Hill, and leaked video of the bareback Senate sex tape was obtained by right-wing website Daily Caller. Here’s the clip, which blurs out the anal penetration and the staffer’s face: It’s not clear who the staffer is, but several right-wing internet personalities are calling him out by name and also naming the Democratic senator for whom he works. Str8Up can not confirm his identity as of right now. The twink staffer being fucked raw in our beloved nation’s capitol also had a photo taken of himself while he was on all fours and wearing only a jock strap with his ass and hole showing. The Daily Caller doctored it up with some graphics and more blurring: (Note the tip of the U.S. Capitol dome looking like it’s being shoved up his ass. Someone prove to me that whoever made this for the Daily Caller isn’t a flaming homosexual.) It’s not known if the tape was being filmed for private use or if the staffer was planning on uploading it to OnlyFans (maybe it was a custom PPV request!), but his identity and his reasoning will undoubtedly be revealed in the coming days (or hours). Via DailyCaller: A source identified the room to the Daily Caller as Senate room Hart 216- The Judiciary Room. The Caller blurred out his face because his identity has not been confirmed. Daily Caller reviewed the chat where the video leaked and confirmed it was shared in a private group for gay men in politics. If I’m not mistaken, I believe this is the first time gay pornography starring a United States senator’s staffer has been filmed on Capitol Hill, so it’s nice to see the gays making a little bit of history in Washington D.C. And if that hearing room looks familiar, that’s because it’s room Hart 216, which is the same room where Louisiana GOP Senator John Kennedy read two passages from the books Genderqueer and All Boys Aren’t Blue back in September during a hearing on book banning. ICYMI: Str8UpGayPorn can now confirm that the staffer being fucked bareback on camera in the Senate hearing room is named Aidan Maese-Czeropski, and he’s a staffer for Senator Ben Cardin (D-Maryland). A source tells Str8Up that Maese-Czeropski shared the sex tape of himself in a group message to several of his friends on an Instagram account he operated under the name “aidansanto” (the account is now pulled down). Before sending the video, Maese-Czeropski posted the below image to his Instagram stories, boasting about how he was fucked by a hung German man in the same room where Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s confirmation hearing was held: Maese-Czeropski added text over the image of himself in Senate hearing room Hart 216, and it reads, “In this very room, Sonia Sotomayor had her confirmation hearing. James Comey testified on Russian interference in the 2016 elections. Aidan got some thick German sausage and a Jager sauce finish. ” ~ the government building capitol is spelled with an o. remember, the capitol has a rotunda ~ This quote is a total fabrication. I have written about this on my blog. When people get caught peddling bogus quotes, they often say that even if the attribution is false, the words are true. What about the featured quote today? It sounds good, and is great for promoting attendance at an event. But is it the truth? Look at the 9/11 attacks. They did change the world. (Nobody said that the world was changed for the better.) While it is true that nineteen men pulled off the caper, they had a lot of help. Somebody financed the operation. Other people built the airliners, and the airports where they took off. Somebody dug an oil well, pumped the crude oil, shipped the crude oil to a refinery, and produced the explosive jet fuel that propelled the attacks. In fact, it was the profits from pumping that oil that financed the attacks. “A small group of thoughtful, committed citizens” flew a plane, that someone else built, into the World Trade Center. They were not “the only thing that ever has.” ~ “God, thank you …” Gnarlene Widget [720×380] ~ selah

this is the monday morning reader for this no three-peat week. A writing prompt asked: what do you know? “water is wet” This is tough to disagree with. Some logic abuser could. People will argue about anything. ~ I enjoy listening to his videos about Gaza. Is William Scott Ritter a reliable source? I don’t know, even if I find a lot of what he says to be plausible. I like that he is taking a mostly military approach to the war, which is what it is. According to WSR, Hamas is winning militarily. I also find his take on the Iron Dome to be plausible. According to WSR, the Iron Dome uses interceptor missiles to take down incoming missiles. There is a limited number of these interceptors, and Hezbollah has a lot more missiles. This is both plausible, and something the corporate press is quiet about. ~ Pitrolux® works through the combination of deodorant and testosterone. “The “refreshing juniper scent” caused teenage girls to steal it out of daddy’s medicine cabinet, and grow beards.” This is a Florida story. ~ “is this binary the dumbest thing you’ve ever heard?” idk, some of the racism binaries I have heard are pretty stupid ~ This is a repost from 2017. By comparison, the total debt in 2011 was $14t. America has borrowed more in the last six years, than it did in 235 years previously. … So much for today’s fantasy. In six years, Israel would crank up the lawn mower. ~ I recently listened to Madeleine Thien read Yoko Ogawa’s “The Cafeteria in the Evening and a Pool in the Rain.” It was a recent podcast, in “The Writer’s Voice.” It is the type of story that I would usually turn off at the earliest opportunity, but for some reason it agreed with my mood. “The Cafeteria …” is about a young lady moving into an old house. On one of her walks, the lady, and her dog, meet a man, and his son. The lady and the man have a conversation about arcane subjects like cafeterias deveining shrimp, and a chocolate machine. We don’t know what the dog and the boy talked about, but it was probably more interesting. Maybe it was my easily amused tuesday state of mind that led me to listen to the entire thing. ~ the problem here is the yes/no nature of the question. If the person is sincerely calling for a final solution 2.0, then yes it is bullying/harassment. However, very few people are calling for a literal elimination of Jews. Usually, people call for something else, and someone hyper-interprets this as a call for genocide. ~ I got riffin’ on something today, and wound up talking about the national debt. Here is the reddit comment. “Jesse made a tweet about the insanity of considering the word “intifada” to be a call for final solution 2.0. There was a tweet from Jonathan Haidt thrown in. First the war, then the reconciliation/confederate mythology. Now the performative rebel-bashing. It will be interesting how this looks in a few years. ~ Back in Shanghai, Goulter sought to gain a permit to return to Hofei and to figure out how he could transport the numerous bales of clothing (which had arrived on the freighter) to the mission station. In the meantime he was aware of local groups that were desperately in need of clothing. Shanghai was full of refugees. Among them were some Jews fleeing from the horrors of Nazi Germany. They had only the summer clothes they were dressed in. Gaining access to his bales of clothing, Goulter was able to fit them out with warm clothes. This incident is possible the basis for unusual story told about Goulter (see following). ~ there is a Christmas urban legend, about a missionary, OJ Goulter, buying German pastries for Jewish refugees in World War II. After I posted a story questioning this legend, the grandchildren of the Dr. Goulter sent me stories about the man. ~ In 1893, Great Britain created a border between Colonial India and Afghanistan. Much of what is today Pakistan arguably belongs to Afghanistan, or an independent Balochistan. ~ This is a repost from December 3, 2017.. For 29 weeks, I published a post about people killed by police. 645 incidents were considered, with key statistics broken down in the summary. The series got very little attention. The series got little attention. For all the hoopla certain cases generate, most people are not interested in the details. ~ @annbauerwriter Also, I am no longer using the phrase “hate speech,” because it’s a propaganda tool that has lost all meaning. A friend told me he’s doing his mandatory corporate DEI training for 2024: Saying “preferred pronouns” is now considered hate speech—and is a fireable offense. ~ 1 thing you know you know about outside world, 1 thing you think you know ” , 1 thing you wish you knew ” , i am still motivated to make the world different – I know that water is wet, and heavy in bulk. Water is the wet element. Some say that earth is anything solid, air is a gas, and water is anything liquid. – That is what I think I know. Water is a metaphor for some arcane knowledge, which I don’t know and don’t especially care to know. – What do I wish I knew? How to ensure an adequate supply of adequate water. The fresh water supply is finite, and here in atlanta, where five million people depend on an overgrown trout stream, the supply of usable water is always precarious. A new drought could begin at any time, and we are powerless to stop. Praying for rain is a good idea, but I am afraid that god is not always listening. – water is a source of power, and a weapon of war. Israel has always coveted the limited water in their area, and is reluctant to share it with others. In this latest killing spree, the water for gaza … never plentiful or clean to begin with … is a weapon for evil. i am motivated to change this, but feel powerless. ~ Howdy … I gave into the temptation to engage with a commercial participant here. I should not that I am retired, and am not wealthy. I apologize for leading you on. I do not see what you are doing as being wrong, likewise I would not feel good about using your services. ~ Mr. Vonnegut’s wikiquote page calls this “misattributed” … “Part of a quote attributed to Vonnegut, but actually a response to tumblr post of a letter by Vonnegut by user three rings” This was in a tumblr called “Hardcore Emotional Smut” There is a letter there from KV that is more believable, and inspiring, than the “archaelogical dig” story. ~ there is a facebook fable about Kurt Vonnegut, rest his soul. The meme is about KV going on an archaeological dig when he is fifteen. I was in the mood to be an obnoxious pedant, so I asked Mr. Google what he thought. An article in snopes came up, and I copied a link to the fbf that posted the meme. Then I read the snopes article, and saw that it had nothing to do with an archaeological dig. Then I went to the KV wikiquote. The AD quote is listed as “Misattributed.” The source was a tumblr, hardcore emotional slut It turns out the AD story is shown below a letter KV wrote to a high school english student. The letter is classic feel-good KV. This letter is much more plausible, and inspiring, than the AD story. How many Indiana 15 yearolds went on archaeological digs in 1937? ~ @chamblee54 Did Kurt Vonnegut go on a archaeological dig when he was 15? The KV Wikiquote blames a tumblr, Hardcore Emotional Smut. The real KV letter is better. @QuoteResearch ~ Address of the International Working Men’s Association to Abraham Lincoln, President of the United States of America Presented to U.S. Ambassador Charles Francis Adams January 28, 1865 [A] Written: by Marx between November 22 & 29, 1864, and included in the Minutes of the General Council on 29th November 1864; ~ @ContrabandsM I haven’t been at work for 2 hours, & I’ve already had an extensive conversation w/ a colleague in which I told her (& she agreed) that she is ill-equipped to connect w/ & assist her Black & Latino students. I also talked w/ 1 of my autistic students about his experience. 1/9 ~ @JoeBiden Hamas unleashed a terrorist attack because they fear nothing more than Israelis and Palestinians living side by side in peace. To continue down the path of terror, violence, killing, and war is to give Hamas what they seek. We can’t do that. ~ @YousefMunayyer @YousefMunayyer This morning I got an email from a cable news network asking me to come on to talk about the “truce” and what happens next. I told them I’d be happy to do so. Then… @YousefMunayyerThey sent me an email asking for technical details to arrange the segment and also asked me for “A couple of brief pre-interview notes on your thoughts which we can use to help guide the interview” @YousefMunayyer I replied back with the technical info as well as three simple points in response to their request for “pre-interview notes” Here is what I sent them: @YousefMunayyer “This morning two unarmed Palestinian children were shot and killed by the Israeli military in occupied Jenin highlighting how even in a moment of “cease-fire” unending military occupation continues to claim the lives of Palestinians.”@YousefMunayyer “There is no military solution to this issue, the only path forward is one based on addressing the root causes which are the denial of basic rights to Palestinians.@YousefMunayyer”The Israeli government, led by Netanyahu, sold Israelis the notion that they could have unending occupation and security at the same time. This was always untrue but it became undeniable on Oct 7th…@YousefMunayyer ..Netanyahu knows his political career and his government’s days are numbered and he is hoping to put off the day after the war as long as possible. The US must not accept that.”@YousefMunayyer Six minutes after sending that email, I got an email back with this “sincere apologies but due to a last-minute change in plans with the show team, we will have to stand down on this request for today.” @YousefMunayyer Folks, I have done hundreds of segments, and countless ones for this same network over the years to talk about this issue. I have *never* witnessed the level of censorship and discourse policing by cable news that is taking place right now. ~ I have a question, and you might have the answer. Is anyone “in charge” of the green space? I have a project I want to do. There is a lot of debris in front of the curb, on the Skyland end. I would like to rake the leaves, and deposit them somewhere out of sight in the woods. I imagine there is some dirt there, which could be scraped up and put somewhere. It is probably good soil, if someone wanted to dump this on a garden. If I got help with this, that would be great. If I do it by myself, that is good as well. There is no deadline. This matter has been piling up as long as I know, so it won’t hurt to stay a bit longer. ~ @RBrulin These videos are SO problematic: Short snippets out of context & neatly packaged to generate buzz make it EVER HARDER to have the serious, reasoned discussions about terrorism that we NEED: About terrorism/resistance Terrorists/freedom fighters Non-state & state terrorism Etc 🧵 ~ #TuckerCarlson can make a strange noise when he laughs. Here he says “You’re out of control” followed by a psycho laugh. .@ComicDaveSmith ~ @martyrmade New Jocko: Unraveling #40 Jocko and I discuss media, politics, Israel and more w/Saagar Enjeti (@esaagar). Plus: Darryl Cooper (Martyr Made) on Israel-Gaza, Ukraine, 1/6 Tapes, & Censorship | SYSTEM UPDATE #186 ~ This is just my opinion. When talking to God, you should use DM, and not a public comment. One time, I heard a lady praying for entertainment on a co-workers radio. It led to my estrangement from Jesus. It is a complicated, personal story. ~ Ray, this is a thought I should have kept to myself. Please accept my apology. ~ A letter from a rainy day, Can find you in a drought, When getting water for your garden, Is all you care about ~ @I_Katchanovski Now head of Zelensky party faction in Ukrainian parliament & head of Ukrainian delegation in Ukraine-Russia talks confirms that peace deal could have been reached in spring 2022 if Ukraine agreed to neutrality. He said that Russia was ready to end the war in such case and that Ukrainian neutrality was main Russian condition. He also confirmed that Western countries told Zelensky not to sign peace deal. Many of the items are about the tragedy in Palestine. One of the saddest actors is Tulsi Gabbard. She has spoken out about the military industrial complex before, but now endorses it. ~ @MagiOtsri You do understand the fact that he is a poet leaves enough time for other hobbies, right? And do you remember that hundreds of civilians also entered with HAMAS into Israel on October 7, raping and murdering women and children (there’s actually videos of it posted in social media by Hamas themselves). All these people have a day job. They also have a hobby of killing jews. ~ @chamblee54 @robertwrighter I found this clip in the dungeon. The phrase “raving lunatic in the wilderness” is from @kausmickey “Then he becomes a raving lunatic in the wilderness, claiming that that he was robbed, even worse than Hillary and Stacey Abrams” ~ Mick Fleetwood wrote a book in 1991. If it had been a work of fiction, nobody would believe it. Mick does not make enemas, or name Cadillacs. I put my shoes on, and went over to Murphy Candler Park. I had gotten about a hundred yards down the trail when a young man started a conversation. He was handsome, with a beard and tattoos. He spoke good english, but I got the sense that it was his second language. We talked about how some people are not happy, even though they lack for nothing materially. Finally we shook hands, and went on our way. I got to the end of the lake, and took a walkway across the wetland. When I got to the other side… after seeing a deer, with an impressive set of antlers … I needed to find a place to pee. There was an improvised path, that led behind some bushes. When I was through shipping the merchandise, I continued down the unofficial trail. I did not know exactly where it went, but noticed that it was beside Nancy Creek. I continued down this path, as it got sketchier and sketchier. Finally I saw a side creek coming in, and a wooden bridge across it. I made my way back to the vehicle, and went on. It was a good thanksgiving. ~ #Thanksgiving was a time our family cherished. It was the only time all of us got together under one roof and mingled. Except for me. ~ I was the the family embarrassment. They were Catholic. I played guitar, loved Heavy Metal, and worshiped Satan. ~ Hanine Hassan حنين @Hanine09 Reading Arab Twitter gives hope to a generational shift away from Western hegemony. Generating & propagating so-called universal human values to disseminate/impose them on the world, the West recently faced 3 consecutive setbacks that unveiled its hollowness in the eyes of Arabs: @Hanine09 The Russian-Ukrainian war, placed within Europe’s historical greed & attacks on Russian territories, then the World Cup & the overt Islamophobia that Western media spewed & most significantly, the Gaza genocide. The latter, constituting a profound blow, has diminished its standing @Hanine09 as a values producer in the eyes of Arabs. The West’s persistence on using a dehumanizing tone will bear the same consequences as the military defeat suffered by the Zionist forces on Oct 7th, which has irrevocably shifted Arab consciousness in regards to Israel’s military might. ~ @chamblee54 I paused the show during a rant by @GlennLoury The looks from @Tyler_A_Harper @dbessner are the thousand words for this picture. fwiw, people were burned alive on October 7. The comments do not age well. Instead of making a dangerous man look normal, the article took a normal man, and tried to make him look dangerous ~ yea, today, i had a long chat, utilizing google translate to code my comments into spanish … this man whose profile i have been liking finally chatted with me. it turns out that he is a total bottom who does not like to have his penis touched … i don’t think this is going to work ~ This is a repost from 2015.
