It said I was in GA05. I then looked at a district map, and it said I was in GA04. I called SOS. They said to call Dekalb County. The county said the maps had not been updated. This did not make sense. Before 2020, I was in GA06. I voted in that insane special election of 2017. Since the district map did not show me in GA06, I thought it had been updated. My neighborhood is in a different district every ten years. The first SOS contact gave me the number to another SOS office. The second SOS person informed that that the districts had been reapportioned by the Legislature last year. It turns out the portions of North Dekalb county have been moved into GA05. This re-reapportionment was done by a court order. This has something to do with a gerrymandering lawsuit.
