Non Random Kindness

PG has gotten himself into another blog battle with a professional Jesus worshiper. If you have too much free time, you can read dialog0828, and see the complete, uncensored spectacle. Yes, after a certain point, the PJW decided the best way to deal with things was to label PG a “troll” and delete his comments. ( Here is another discussion involving PG)
There are two points to make in this forum. ZSB (the PJW) took a gratuitous slap at the Universal Unitarian church. PG is not a member of the UU church. He has been a visitor at a delightful UU owned facility called the mountain.. PG has been shown a great deal of kindness by the friends he has in the UU congregation. This crude slap is not appreciated.
The text of the post was a mess of empty rhetoric. PG asked for a link to some of the claims. The second time the request was made, ZSB supplied a list of links, including chamblee54. One of the links was to bohemian bloggess (try saying bohemian bloggess dot blogspot ten times fast). The top post was a feature called Kindness is a Deliberate Act. The last sentence goes “I think what we really want to practice are more non-random acts of kindness — directed to those we know and to those we don’t know — as much as possible. I am sure it will make our lives happier and the world a kinder place.”
Ok, here is the deal. Show kindness to your neighbor, and make your life happier. Or go to church, and get yelled at about going to hell. Somehow, this is not a tough choice.

Ugh, that preacher man. Just…ugh. Although, after reading a few of his posts, I can’t help but like the poor guy. He is so self-assured. Like a sixteen-year-old. My reply to your comment will be posted momentarily. Thank you for the mention and heads up.
