Was the Kayne West -Taylor Swift mixup a publicity stunt?
This blog has no evidence, but the circumstances are peculiar. The story, for those under a rock, goes like this. A lady named Taylor Swift wins an award. She is wearing a silver dress. While she is accepting the award, Kayne West comes out of nowhere and says “Beyonce’ had one of the best videos of all time”.
Later in the evening, Beyonce’ gets an award, and calls Miss Swift out to “have her moment”. Miss Swift has changed into a red dress, and appears immediately.
Who had something to gain from this? All the players involved did. Beyonce’ gets her name mentioned a few million times, and gets to play the gracious lady. Taylor Swift gets a big career boost. Being dissed by a black man will give her country fans something to talk about.
As for the Gay Fish…all publicity is good to him. Acting like a jerk is business as usual for him. There are probably a few fans who agree with him, and think what he did was cool. Some people consider Joe Wilson a hero.
A few months ago, Bruno and Emenim cooked up a little stunt for publicity, at an awards show. It got reams of attention for Bruno’s movie, which did not help once people got to see it. With any luck at all, there is no new product from Mr. West in the near future.
PG found a still shot on the video of Taylor Swift in a red dress. It shows someone who looks a lot like Perez Hilton applauding. If that is Mario Laundromat, then that is more evidence that this is a put on.
